i grew up in a small village in eastern Germany, so my youth was characterized by a political and ideological debate that turned me into a proud anti-fascist.
it were cultural clashes that sparked my desire to show the truth, and so i studied audiovisual media with a focus on documentary film.
documentary work still characterizes my visual language, even though i have now been truly inspired by the people, countries, nature, films and other art i have been able to get to know.
